CELEBRATIONS will be held today to mark the centenary of Holy Spirit Catholic schools in Abermain and Kurri Kurri and the official opening of new buildings.

Abermain's Holy Spirit infants school has new air-conditioned classrooms, a library and an administration area as well as improved classroom and playground equipment.

The schools will be open to the public on Sunday.
